The band, under the direction of Harvey Benson and enhanced by the vocal talents of Gilda, was superb and the audience could be seen swaying to The Birth of the Blues, Autumn Song, When You're Smiling and many more nostalgic tunes of yesteryear which evoked happy memories.
Many thanks to ESRA's director Sunny Marshansky who introduced us to Elisheva from the Aliya and Klita offices of Ramat Gan who generously made the room available to us.
Our next meeting on Tuesday 26 March will feature singer and entertainer Marilyn Lyons. Same venue - 13 Krinitzi St., Ramat Gan.
