Guided Visit to Haifa City Museum
Join us for a fascinating guided visit to the Haifa City Museum, exploring the city’s transformation into a vibrant, multinational hub. The tour begins with the 18th-century demolition of the Old City (Haifa al-Atika) and the founding of “New Haifa” (Haifa al-Jadida) by Sheikh Daher al-Omar al-Zidani, Governor of Acre and the Galilee.
Our visit also features the museum’s new exhibition: The Templars: Legacy and Dream. This exhibition showcases the works of artist Ossi Yalon, who has spent years researching the story of the 19th-century German Protestant sect that settled in Haifa in 1868 to establish their first colony in the Holy Land.
