Secrets of the Sistine Chapel

with Roy Doliner

Did you know that there are secret Hebrew messages and Jewish symbolism hidden in some of the most unlikely places inside the Vatican?
Did you know that Christian artists were forbidden to sign their masterpieces created for the church? How did they find ways to do it secretly?
Did you know that the Magen David had a different name and meaning up until the 1600s?
Roy Doliner will answer these questions and more in this fascinating lecture.

Roy Doliner is known internationally as an art detective, or the "Jewish Sherlock Holmes" in the world of art history. His first book, The Sistine Secrets: Michelangelo's forbidden messages in the heart of the Vatican (co-authored with Rabbi Benjamin Blech) is an international best seller.

The Discovery Channel did a special documentary on his astonishing find of an unknown masterpiece of Michelangelo. He is the first Orthodox Jew to be authorized as a VIP guide in the Vatican.
When Roy is not busy researching and writing, he is often flying around the globe as a much requested lecturer and scholar in residence, and as a proud citizen and representative of the State of Israel.
