On the Program:

Sodastream - The company makes soda water as well as numerous concentrated syrups and flavorings. There ‎are 13 production facilities worldwide. In Israel Sodastream employs 1,400 workers, the main ‎manufacturing facility near Rahat. The 'company culture' is one of respect across ethnic groups, ‎and it provides a peaceful environment where Jews and Bedouins work side by side in harmony.‎

Lakiya Bedouin Weaving Project - Established in 1991 as an income project for Bedouin women, the traditional skills of spinning and ‎weaving wool are used, and new skills for dyeing and managing a business are being developed. ‎Traditional colors and patterns are incorporated into contemporary lifestyle products.‎

Negev Embroidery Project - The project enables Bedouin women to use traditional skills that have been handed down through ‎the generations, to earn money and learn how to manage a business. They provide workshops for ‎anyone interested in learning the ancient embroidery methods.‎
