Project of the Month

These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.


Three ESRA buses to Aida

aida_scene.jpgAmongst the audience at the production of Verdi's Aida at Masada this year were no less than 3 buses of ESRA opera fans all organised most efficiently by Judy Copeland, ESRA's administrator at Beit Fisher. Linda Gerstl from Rishon Lezion sent us this report:


A 108 page colour magazine filled with interesting articles on a variety of topics - consumerism, travel, culture, parenting, gardening, animals, history, health and more, together with vital information on ESRA's activities.

Why ESRA? and What are ESRA's aims?

ESRA is an independent non-profit organisation run by volunteers.

A group of English Speaking residents of Herzliya and Kfar Shmaryahu formed ESRA in 1979, primarily to fulfill a social need and assist their integration into Israeli society.
