Rishon Lezion
The ESRA Rishon Lezion branch, which covers the area of Rishon Lezion, Nes Ziona and surrounding towns was formed in early 2008 and has an active membership. Rishon's activities, which continue to expand, include volunteer tutoring, a knitting club, a cinema club, a book exchange and other social activities for members and non-members.

VOLUNTEERING ACTIVITIES
- supplemental tutoring of English and other subjects in schools to children whose families cannot afford the benefit of private lessons.
- activities in the Ethiopian community helping children with homework and participating in a summer tutoring program for 50 children.
- adoption of an after-school club for at-risk children at Moadonit 'Ofakim' run by the Rishon Lezion Municipality. The Rishon group supplies personal care gifts, plays games and organizes parties for the children to celebrate birthdays and the Jewish festivals. In addition, ESRA Rishon Lezion has also provided the children with musical instruments - recorders - for music therapy. Other items, including furniture, have been donated for the moadonit itself.
- a knitting club meeting regularly throughout the year to make an ever-growing number of sweaters. For Chanukah 2011, 180 sweaters and gift packages were donated by members of the knitting club and other volunteers to needy children at 11 moadoniot run by the Rishon Municipality.
- cinema club screenings of interesting documentaries accompanied by a speaker on relevant Israeli topics, 4 times a year.
- lectures on various topics
- games nights, Bridge course
- additional activities such as bowling, book exchanges, a self-defence course, get-togethers for holidays and other events.
