Nina Zuck receives Netanya Outstanding Volunteer Award

ESRA's Co-chair, Nina Zuck was honoured on Monday 26th July at a ceremony in the 'Gan Hamelech' Amphitheatre in Netanya when she was one of ten of the town's residents to receive the Mayor's Citation for Outstanding Volunteers.Since 1998 she has been coordinating ESRA's Sewing Centres for Ethiopian immigrants, later helping to establish the Shachal Learning Center, and most recently the most successful 'Build a Neighborhood' project in the Hefziba area of Netanya. In addition Nina has organised a variety of courses such as healthy cooking, English conversation, exercise classes all with volunteer help; she has initiated the projects for Excellence in Music and the Neot Shaked Computer Centre; as well as starting the ESRA Second Hand Shop and the Cinema Club in Netanya, which both raise money to maintain all the Netanya projects
