October 28th saw the launch of ESRA Modiin Branch's new project 'Neve ESRA', (an afternoon moadonit for severely high risk children) in the prescence of Modiin Mayor, Haim Bibas. Jackie Klein, co-chair of ESRA Modiin introduced the speakers and thanked everyone for their support: Nina Zuck, ESRA's co-chair; Yaacov Almog, Director of the Municipal Welfare Department;  and Seffi Rosenberg, coordinator of Neve ESRA.

A light supper was served on the verandah of Business Class in the Azrieli Mall, followed by musical entertainment - a charming choir from the state-religious Shivtei Israel elementary school in Modiin;  the Clarinet Quartet led by Sara Elbaz, a teacher of clarinet at the Israel Conservatory in Tel Aviv, accompanied by three young student-musicians; singer Naomi Adler and guitarist Hagai Baron gave a great performance with the audience asking for more; last but not least, internationally renowned singer and musician, Jill Rogoff  thrilled the guests with her enchanting voice. 
May this be an inspiring start for this new project.
