ESRA Executive
Executive Committee:
As we commence our second year as co-chairpersons we look back with pride over the last year and what has been achieved in ESRA. This coming year we hope to go forward with many new ideas and to continue trying to get ESRA’s name out to the general public. We have printed a striking new pamphlet on 12 panels explaining, in Hebrew and English about the projects, and are now working on a similar one showing all our activities and support services. These will serve as a means spreading the message of what ESRA is all about.
We are planning another Festival in the spring of 2012 and also another big evening at the Opera House.
The projects have seen changes this year. We now have a computer center in Hefzibah, Netanya, a new Bayit Cham in Herzliya for at risk teenage girls, another ethnic dance group in South Netanya. What we’d really like to see is a project in every branch – and, of course, a branch in every town! We’re hoping to get Rishon going next year with their first funded project and will be starting another project of excellence with the Ruppin Marine Science Institute.
This year we will focus on strengthening our branches and encouraging more people to become members of ESRA.
