Welcome to the website of ESRA, registered non-profit organization (no. 580037455), hereinafter ESRA. The information on this page defines the terms of use of the website. Please read carefully. Use of this website, including making donations, payment for activities/events or renewal of membership in ESRA, represents your agreement with these terms of use. If you do not agree with them, please refrain from using the website. If terminology uses a masculine gender, it is for convenience only and is meant to refer to males and females alike.

A varied range of information is presented in this website. The information is presented as a service to users and will be periodically updated. ESRA is not to be held legally responsible/culpable for the nature of the content and/or its quality and/or any error that may occur with regard to the content and any use made of it. Prior to relying on any such information, it is recommended to personally check the information. The information and content presented in the website aim at bringing to the attention of the user information regarding ESRA activities and presenting the range of services available to the public. ESRA and those representing it, shall not be held legally responsible/culpable for any direct and/or indirect and/or circumstantial damage of any kind resulting from and/or due to use of the website. Any links from this website to other sites aim solely to make the users' task easier, and neither ESRA nor those representing it are to be held legally responsible/culpable for any direct and/or indirect and/or circumstantial damage of any kind resulting from and/or due to users' entry into and/or use of these sites, or due to reliance on information appearing in and/or recommended by these sites.

All creative and intellectual property in the website, including material, content, design, software, applications, computer code, graphics, visual images and photographs, video films, audio-visual creations, recordings, music, design elements, texts, films, scripts, ideas, names, logo, symbols, trademarks, and any other elements or information of any kind found in the website and/or related to it (hereinafter "the content") are the sole property of ESRA and/or the owners of rights to make any use of it within the website, and shall not be made any use of whatsoever, directly or indirectly, without prior written permission from ESRA. The names, logo and all trademarks in the website are registered trademarks, protected by law including international law, and no use may be made of them, neither directly nor indirectly. Without prejudice regarding the above, it is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, present, broadcast, advertise, update, sell, change and/or make any other use, in any way whatsoever, directly or indirectly, of the website and/or its content and/or details of its information, software, products, and/or services, etc. that are in the website and/or its content or make any illegal use thereof.

 

  1. Payments through the website for donations, activities/events, or membership

ESRA enables through this website, an easy, convenient and quick way to make a payment. Only those who are age 18 and above may make payments through the website. While making the credit card payment, the card will be checked with the relevant Israeli credit card company, and the website user will receive an immediate response regarding the status of the transaction and whether it has been accepted or rejected. The person carrying out the transaction may request from ESRA a change in the details of the debit or cancellation of the transaction. In the event of cancellation of participation in a hike, the cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to the date of the hike, and the cancellation fee is 10% of the price of participation. For cancellations closer to the date than 72 hours, there is no refund. Transaction cancellations shall be conducted per Consumer Protection Law 1981 Rules for Consumer Protection (transaction cancellation) and 2010. It is prohibited to use false details, as this is a criminal offense. Any user perpetrating this offense will be subject to legal criminal proceedings. In the event that the transaction is not authorized by the relevant Israeli credit card company, the person conducting the transaction will be notified accordingly. In such a case, in order to complete the transaction, the user will need to phone ESRA. ESRA will not be held legally responsible for any unlawful act perpetrated by the user or by any other party not under ESRA's full control. Once payment is completed, ESRA will send the user a confirmation of the payment transaction based on the details supplied by the user.

  1. Privacy and Confidentiality of Data

ESRA shall be entitled to use the personal details of the user for internal purposes only. ESRA undertakes to delete the user's personal data from the website and to make no further use of it, if specifically and in writing requested to do so by the user. ESRA shall not be in violation of any privacy or confidentiality commitments, nor in violation of the user's privacy regarding any data that, as defined by Computer Law 1995, is used for identifying the user or tracking of the user by another, resulting from use of electronic communication in general or via computers in particular. ESRA does not share users' personal and identifying information with third parties. Having said that, there is no prohibition on ESRA's sharing such information as required by any legal proceedings and/or requested from Israel police and/or the courts, in accordance with law. in the website are protected by CAL, by using high level coding and by PCI DSS regulations, in order to ensure the best possible protection of personal details. The information you provide on the website is for use by the website and will be protected per the Protection of Privacy Law 1981. ESRA undertakes to do all it can, with the resources at its disposal, to protect your information and to avoid any possible breach of privacy regarding your submitted details. At the same time, it is not within our power to prevent absolutely any or all possible disruptions, and therefore ESRA shall not be held responsible with regard to damages and/or errors and/or disruptions so caused.

  

  1. Jurisdiction Location and Authority

Use of this website is subject only to the laws of the State of Israel. The sole location for jurisdiction regarding any matter deriving from use of the website shall be only an authorized Israeli court of law in the Tel Aviv area.
