Karmiel Musical presentation

ESRA Karmiel presents ‘The Honey and the Sting’ - The incredible story of the state of Israel through the life story and compositions of Naomi Shemer.

Presented by Roy Rimshon

Since the days of King David, the Jewish people never had an artist like Naomi Shemer whose music was sung by so many and had such a vast and dramatic effect and influence on the Jewish and Israeli narrative.

Roy Rimshon, a self-confessed Naomi Shemer enthusiast, brings light and life to Shemer’s story. From her childhood in Kibbutz Kinneret through adolescence, from her musical education and early songs to becoming a living legend, Shemer’s life is a colorful narrative.
