We are happy to announce a special fundraising evening on Thursday 29th March at the Mishkan in Raanana. In his one man hit show  'It Sounds Better in Amharic' Yossi Vassa traces his long, arduous journey from his home village, mixing nostalgic memories of life in Ethiopia with hilarious perspectives on adjusting to modern-day Israel. New volunteers are always needed. This time there's a call for volunteer tutors for schools in South Tel Aviv - contact our ESRA Bat Yam Branch coordinator Susan O'Neill if you can help. 
Volunteer drivers are needed from Netanya to Bar Ilan University for a new project in Netanya - contact Nina Zuck.
Local volunteer distributors for the ESRA MAGAZINE are always welcome - contact Nanci at ESRA.

Additional copies to send to family and friends or to take with you on trips overseas may be collected from all ESRA offices.

ESRA MAGAZINE # 164 will be distributed on March 27. Please submit advertisements or web banner designs by February 26. Contact Caryn at 09-956 5728 for all forms of advertising.


Two new social groups are being formed in Netanya: a Breakfast Get-together at Davina's and a new group for New and Recent Olim. Contact Gillian 054-726 5970 for more information.
ESRA's Adult ADHD Group extends an open invitation to anyone wanting to learn about a System for Finances and Bill-Paying on Thursday, February 23rd.

ESRA is planning two Interactive Workshops in May for all those thinking of volunteering in some way with ESRA.

Please note that Membership Fees will be going up as of  March 1, 2012. Take this opportunity to become a member now, or to renew your lapsed membership at the old rate. Remember that membership of the ESRA organisation ensures that we can continue to provide activities and services and make sure that our wonderful projects for the community run efficiently and smoothly.
