Our new ESRA Befriender's Group has now completed its 4 week training session which included familiarising ourselves with the workings of ESRA, getting to know each other, and working as a group.  We were instructed by a professional social worker, counselor and psychologist.  They briefed us on how to be more assertive, to be able to acknowledge depression and much more.  We had roll play on listening skills and talked about confidentiality.  A very interesting and informative four weeks.
