Do you remember the trip of the Ethiopian Dance Group to Jerusalem in last month's e-newsletter (see below)? Well, the father of the Bar Mitzvah boy at whose party the girls danced, has just given us a wonderful donation to enable us to outfit the girls in 3 different costumes each - what a double Bar Mitzvah Mitzvah!

ESRA’s January trip to the Dead Sea was a delightful getaway.  As the bus headed south our tour guide gave us an overview of the Bedouins in the Negev.  We later stopped to visit the Joe Alon Center for Regional Studies, (named after the late Colonel Joe Alon) at Kibbutz Lahav.
