Yesterday evening Jennifer Bell received an award on behalf of ESRA at a special evening for new and recent immigrants organised by Raanana Municipality. The evening at Yad Lebanim, organised by the Aliyah and Klitah Department, in the presence of the Mayor of Raanana, Nahum Hofri, honoured 10 local organisations who work towards absorbing the new arrivals.

Jennifer makes contact with Olim Hadashim in the area and, together with Linda Epstein, organises Coffee Afternoons to introduce them the activities of ESRA, to answer any queries, and to help make the newcomers feel at home.

The many Olim in the audience enjoyed the evening's proceedings especially the entertainment by the famous Hava Nagila Folklore Troupe who sang and danced after the award ceremony.
