A leading Jewish artist, Chagall lived in modern Paris but dreamt of ancient Palestine.
In this lecture, we will follow one of Chagall’s main themes through his art and life, his Bible Series, which he worked on for 60 years and in diverse media: paintings, sculptures, prints, stained glass and weaving. Through his extensive Bible Series we will learn about his life, his love and his family.
