ESRA Rehovot Tour of Beit Ha'edut – Testimony House
A Guided Tour of Beit Ha'edut – Testimony House
Testimony House was founded at Moshav Nir Galim, near Ashdod, by Holocaust survivors. It presents material dealing with the survival of the people of Israel and the foundation of the State of Israel. Various forms of art are presented at Testimony House, from sculptures to miniatures, from painting to writing. There is a permanent exhibition of mini-models of synagogues that existed in Europe and were destroyed during the Holocaust. There are also Judaica artifacts from the Jewish Shtetl. Testimony House includes an educational center, a documentary museum and a memorial site. Throughout the year, it is visited by tens of thousands of people from both Israel and outside the country. A visit to the Testimony House museum is a touching experience that will leave the visitor with timeless memories.Transportation not included.
