ESRA Rehovot is launching a pilot program for “Conversational English for Oral Bagrut” in the upcoming school year. We are a small but enthusiastic core of volunteers enabling us to offer help in two high schools, WIZO and De Shalit.ESRA's “Conversational English for Oral Bagrut” project was initiated over 10 years ago in the Sharon-Dan region and most recently in Modi’in.

The feedback from schools, students and volunteers is very positive — some of the volunteers describe this as one of their most rewarding experiences, with a definite feeling of accomplishment measurable also by the successful achievements of the kids in the exams.

Volunteers don't have to be teachers, just native English speakers willing to donate their time to assist schoolchildren and able to come to the school once or twice a week by mutual convenience.
