o the Glass Factory Museum (Ha’mizgaga) & The Atlit Detention Camp
On the Program:
  • Glass Museum formerly the glass factory for Rothschild’s Winery explanation by an English Speaking guide.
  • Stop for lunch at Zichron Yacov, bring your own or eat at one of the many cafes along the main street.
  • Atlit Detention Camp, established by the British to prevent Jewish refugees from entering the Palestine Mandate and where tens of thousands of Jewish refugees were interned - including the famous Exodus Boat refugees from Europe to Israel. The Atlit camp is now a Museum of the History of Ha'apala. Tour led by an English-speaking guide.
The cost includes the bus and entrance to both museums.
