Project of the Month

These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.

Day Outing to the Old City of Akko

Hear the amazing story of Akko from its prehistoric beginnings through Crusader, Ottoman and British Mandate periods to present day.

The tour will include
  • the Enchanted Garden,
  • the Ottoman Citadel,
  • the Crusader Hospitaler Fortress,
  • the Underground Prisoners Museum,
  • the Hammam al Basha (Turkish baths),
  • the Templars’ Tunnel,
  • a walk along the Ramparts
  • and more…………
LUNCH:  Bring your own food or purchase in Akko market

NB The trip is only suitable for participants who are in good health and who do not need assistance. There is a fair amount of walking.
