Event Date and Time:
18 January, 9:30

ESRA Modiin Branch

Lecture Series ‎“Taste of Art”

Introductory lecture: Vermeer: Master of Light - the Dutch Golden Age painter
with ‎ Dr. Kinneret Zohar-Lahav

Kinneret aims to promote the enjoyment of classical art, with music and film clips combined to create an exciting and enriching educational experience

Kinneret Zohar-Lahav was born in Bombay to Israeli diplomat parents. Growing up in foreign lands gave her a unique view in understanding the history of art, its present and future as the artists saw it and the context in which a piece was created.
Looking at a picture, she enters an adventure. An artwork is a window into another dimension of time and place. This is the manner and method of her art appreciation courses and her exploration of art in Europe.
