This event starts with a tour in English at the celebrated Khan Museum in the centre of Hadera. We will be visiting the surviving 11 rooms of the original Ottoman farmstead.  When the the farmstead was built, in 1891, this was the first home for Hadera’s founders. An outdoor and five indoor permanent exhibitions narrate 70 years of an outstanding history. The Museum maintains the city's historical archives as well as a library.






The tour will be followed by brunch/lunch at Gregg's in the Hadera Shopping Mall, right opposite. Non-members are asked for a NIS 15 donation to ESRA;  the restaurant is kosher, and the menu choice is varied.  

There is ample underground parking at the shopping mall and the Museum is only a short walk.
