The ESRA Or Akiva bookshop opened in February 2008. Customers will find books on general history and Jewish history, biographies and autobiographies, thrillers and romances, books about cookery,travel, health and psychology; children's books for all ages. Come to browse and come to buy.

WHERE WE ARE
The shop is situated at the Meir Panim centre, 16 Rehov Kopelowich, which provides food, clothing and support to deprived households living in Or Akiva.  Two minutes from the rear car park of the Orot shopping mall.  From Route 4, turn at the sign to Or Akiva, at first circle turn right, and turn right again at the fourth turning on the right, you will see our ESRA bookshop sign above street level. Stop and park.

OPENING HOURS
The bookshop is open daily, from Sunday to Friday, 10am to 12noon; Closed on all holidays, Independence Day and the week before Pessach when food parcels are made up and handed out to needy families but we are open Hol HaMoed Pessach and Succot.

VOLUNTEERS
We welcome volunteers, whether it is twice a week or twice a month. Please call us.

BOOK DONATIONS
We welcome all donations, but please bring books in good condition.  Books no more than three years old are especially welcome. We are delighted to get your donations, but we do need to sell the books too!

GREAT PESACH  SALE from 1st - 12th April 2012 (closed April 6th).  Books by the following authors are ONE SHEKEL ONLY: John Le Carre, Dan Brown, Robert Ludlum, James Patterson, Danielle Steele, John Grishom, Tom Clancy, Patricia Cornwall, Steven King, Nora Roberts and Richard Patterson. All other books NIS 10.
