“esrabooks” our Modiin secondhand bookshop, opened its doors in October 2010 and was officially inaugurated at a Ceremony in the presence of local dignitaries and ESRA officers.We offer:
- A huge selection of used books: fiction, non-fiction, history, Jewish themes, travel, cooking, health, parenting, etc, as well as children’s books for teens and tots.
- Hebrew book section for adults, youth and children.
- English “Story-Hour” in the Mall every second Thursday (will recommence after Succot 2012)
- a 10% reduction to ESRA card-carrying members for all book purchases.
- Ethiopian hand-crafted products on display and available for purchase
All proceeds from esrabooks support our project in Modiin, Neve ESRA, an after school club for severely high risk children aged 9-12
