These programs allow talented underprivileged teenagers to fulfill their potential by providing them with a challenging program of enrichment and leadership training at the Ruppin Institute of Marine Science. Talented 7th graders from all backgrounds of Israeli society in the lower socio-economic levels are chosen - programs run for 2 years.

ESRA offers members an exciting two-part Interactive Workshop


Developing the attitudes, qualities and tools to lead and inspire.

On Wednesday 22 and Wednesday 29 November 2017 (must be able to attend both sessions)

Be part of a stimulating process:
  • Self-awareness:  knowing and being oneself, as a leader
  • Group dynamics:  knowing and responding appropriately to the individual’s and group/team personality and behaviour
This process is about developing self-confidence and the outer expression as a leader and how ‎to facilitate these within the people in the group/team. This will be a practical workshop, ‎where participants will have an opportunity to practice and acquire the skills of leadership, ‎amongst which are enhanced communication, listening, assertiveness and effective ‎presentation.

BRENDA KATTEN: Brenda is a past Chairperson of ESRA and she has headed many other large ‎organizations, both in Israel and in Britain. Brenda is a trained and experienced Relationship ‎and Educational Counsellor, holding the BAC qualification.‎

JULIET ROSTOWSKY:  A South African registered Industrial Psychologist with many years of ‎experience in leadership development, communication skills and group dynamics.‎

Fee includes teas and light lunches.
