Befriending the Elderly, Sick or Lonely

Befrienders provide a listening ear, help wherever possible with information and referral advice, and visit anyone who is housebound, elderly, or lonely in private homes, hospitals, sheltered homes and includes reading, conversing, taking for walks, shopping etc.

We are currently looking for both men and women to befriend housebound and lonely people in the Sharon area.
 
Four training/orientation sessions will be held on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th October 2010.
