Early in 1990, in the face of the major wave of immigration, ESRA expanded its activities to include a fund - The ESRA Immigrant Fund - later renamed the ESRA Community Fund or ECF. Over 20,000 immigrant and disadvantaged families have been assisted by the ECF in the areas of education, welfare and employment.
